City of Omaha Tree Disposal Sites: CLOSED

The City of Omaha tree debris drop-off site at Al Veys Field (6506 S. 60th St., North of Harrison) and all other park locations have closed.

For a fee, tree debris may also be self-hauled to River City Transfer Station (to be landfilled) or to the Soil Dynamics Yard (to be composted).

City of Omaha Curbside Collection

The City of Omaha is offering one pass of curbside tree-debris collection  Due to the volume of debris, this special collection effort could take multiple weeks to complete, please be patient.

The City of Omaha started curbside residential collection Thursday, August 8th. Tree Debris should be placed as close to the curb as possible. Paper yard waste bags can be filled with tree debris only and will be collected during the curbside collection in your neighborhood.

If you prefer faster collection of yard waste bags, you can purchase the FCC pre-paid stickers, attach the stickers to the yard waste bags, and FCC will pick-up on your regular collection day.

Residents should NOT put debris into containers — just put them right out on the curb. Small limbs can also be put into the black-lid garbage cart for collection.

Regular trash collection may be delayed. Find more details at the City's Wasteline website.
